Coach Steve has over 17 years of experience coaching swimming, including four years with the Cruzers (Summers of '95-'97, '01). Before becoming Aquatics Director and head coach at LCA, Steve was the swim coach at Westlake High School where he was awarded "State Coach of the Year" in 1996.  Steve has coached 28 high school All-Americans and won 2 Class 5A state titles.

brianhat.jpg COACH BRIAN SCOFIELD

Brian Scofield has been coaching swimming for over nine years.  Brian grew up in Austin, where he swam competively for Longhorn (then Texas) Aquatics for ten years.  He was a national qualifier in the 200 Meter Breastroke and competed at the state level for Westlake High School in the breaststroke and butterfly.  Brian attended the University of Notre Dame, where he played water polo, and graduated in 2003.  Brian formerly served as aquatics director and head coach at Westwood Country Club for four years before joining the staff at LCA.  Brian is also an independent filmmaker. Brian will be working primarily with the Bronze and Gold Groups.

Coach Josh is a member of the National team and swims for St. Michael's High School.  Coach Josh has coached various teams at LCCC, including The Cruzers and The Development Team.  He will be primarily working with our Development Team and Silver Group.
