Development Team
(DT)
DT is a
unique year-round program for beginner to intermediate level
swimmers looking to improve their strokes and endurance before
making the leap to fully competitive swimming. It is perfect
for younger swimmers who are looking for an introduction to
year-round swimming, or for older swimmers who enjoy swimming
during the fall and winter but also wish to continue to participate
in other sports and activities.
DT offers lots of hands-on coaching and personal attention from
our coaching staff, ensuring that our youngest swimmers develop
into talented athletes!
We offer a variety of days for practices to accommodate the
swimmer’s busy schedule. We suggest you attend three
practices a week to begin your development in this sport. We
typically split each practice into two or three levels with each
group practicing 45 minutes. We typically spend a great deal
of time during a practice on stroke development and teaching other
components of this sport. Typical ages in this group are 5-10 years
old.

that swimmers practice 4 times a week.
