Freshman Swimmer Came From Behind in
500-free to Take 4th at A-10
Nik Glenesk was
named the 2009-10 men's swimming Most Valuable Player at The George
Washington University annual Senior Honors Luncheon held on April
29.
The freshman persevered through a lengthy swimming season,
battling back from seventh place to finish fourth in the 500-yard
freestyle at the 2010 Atlantic 10 Championship. His time of 4:36.57
in the event is the ninth fastest in program history. Glenesk also
posted the program's seventh-best time in the 1,650 free at the
A-10 Championship in February.
